A single-day hotel photography commission at Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya — a five-star all-inclusive resort set in Playa del Carmen, on Mexico’s stunning Caribbean coastline — shot on behalf of Cala Creatives.
Despite the compressed timeframe, the brief was anything but simple. Working to a strict itinerary with tight deadlines, the shoot was required to deliver a comprehensive library of social media-led marketing content spanning the full breadth of the resort’s amenities — achieving in a single day what would typically be scheduled across multiple shoot days.
This kind of high-pressure, single-day production is where experience and preparation make all the difference. Precise scheduling, fast decision-making on location, and the ability to move efficiently between vastly different environments — pools, restaurants, suites, beach — while maintaining consistent quality throughout, are skills that come from years of working on large-scale hospitality productions.
