Created to mark the launch of the Cù Bòcan 12 Year Single Malt, this project took the bottle out of the studio and onto the water — sailing with the Coastal Exploration Company around the Norfolk Coast to photograph a group of friends sharing and enjoying the whisky in a genuinely adventurous setting.
The approach reflects the character of the whisky itself — bold, outdoorsy, and made to be enjoyed beyond the expected. The Norfolk coastline provided a dramatic and distinctly British backdrop, grounding the Cù Bòcan 12 Year firmly in the kind of elemental, seafaring landscape the brand naturally inhabits.
This was a fully self-contained production — photographed, produced, and styled entirely by David, from sourcing the Coastal Exploration Company and casting the group through to final delivery.
In addition to the lifestyle imagery, a set of product images were created with a cleaner aesthetic.
